What is Dead Cat Society?

DCS is a street art project started by a group of artists in Portland Oregon. With a focus on felines, DCS creates various forms of art, ranging from stencils, to acrylic paintings, to stickers. 

Why dead cats?

No specific reason, someone said "dead cat society" and we thought it had a ring to it. The art followed. 

Do you support dead cats/ animal abuse?

Absolutly not! DCS is made by animal lovers for animal lovers. While the art and name are mobid, so is the world we live in. Please understand that the art is meant to be politcal/economic commentary, not pro animal abuse propaganda.
